How does a person end up in sin?
It is a combination of demonic influence, and what you think!
It is largely what you allow yourself to entertain in your own mind!
This is the PATH from the source of sin to actually sinning:
1. Source of sin.
2. Seeing this sin.
3. Entertaining this sin. (Sin starts here!)
4. Considering doing what you entertained.
5. Committing yourself to do what you considered.
6. Actually doing what you have committed yourself to do. (Doing Sin!)
Once you have begun to entertain a source of evil, you are on your way to doing it.
In most situations entertaining a sinful thought is sinning.
You don’t have to actually DO a sin to be guilty of committing sin.
Job 31:1-4 KJV
1 I made a covenant with mine eyes; WHY THEN SHOULD I THINK UPON A MAID?
2 For what portion of God is there from above? and what inheritance of the Almighty from on high?
3 Is not destruction to the wicked? and a strange punishment to the workers of iniquity?
4 Doth not he see my ways, and count all my steps?
Proverbs 23:6-7 KJV
6 Eat thou not the bread of him that hath an evil eye, neither desire thou his dainty meats:
7 FOR AS HE THINKETH IN HIS HEART, SO IS HE: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.
Matthew 9:4-5 KJV
4 And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, WHEREFORE THINK YE EVIL IN YOUR HEARTS?
5 For whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and walk?
1 Corinthians 7:36 KJV
36 But if any man THINK that he behaveth himself uncomely toward his virgin, if she pass the flower of her age, and need so require, let him do what he will, he sinneth not: let them marry.
1 Corinthians 13:4-6 KJV
4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,

6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
Galatians 6:2-5 KJV

4 But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.
5 For every man shall bear his own burden.
Philippians 4:8 KJV
8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, THINK ON THESE THINGS.
